What makes for good women's activewear?

We believe that women’s activewear should feel as good as it looks. From our smooth, removable bra padding and flattering scrunch bum designs to the buttery soft fabrication of our opaque high-performance fabric, we’ve carefully designed our women’s activewear to offer support without constricting your body — providing comfort and coverage, no matter what you have planned. 

Is activewear supposed to be tight?

The way you workout and what you like to wear is an individual choice based on your unique preferences. If you like to hit the gym in a relaxed fit crew neck, do you! For our fitted items like leggings, bike shorts and sports bras, we recommend going for your regular size to get a snug fit. This will make the pieces more comfortable and won’t get in the way or restrict your movement as you hit your yoga positions or start squat reps.

Is activewear breathable?

Not all activewear is created equal. Some may look the part, but they don’t allow you a full range of movement or stay breathable while you work up a sweat. We designed all of our women’s activewear on sale from a moisture-wicking, high-performance fabric that feels soft, secure and breathable even in the warmest conditions. 

Is activewear the same as sportswear?

We call our women’s apparel activewear because it’s not just designed for sport. How often should you wash activewear?

We’ve designed our staples to be washable, so you can keep them fresh and clean without worrying about pilling, transparent fabrics or losing the elastic of the fabric. To keep your Jem Sporting activewear looking as good as possible, we recommend washing your staples in a cold machine wash and gentle air drying in the shade.
